I Personally love these cute soap to use and to gift my family and friends are in love of making my home made soaps and the winters are the season where we get so much of fresh fruits and vegetables and they are not only good for our health but they are magical for pampering our skin natural .
so, today will discuss about how to make orange peel soap as this citrus soap is such an energizing way to start the day as these peels contain essential oil which works as disinfectant and helps to boost your mood plus the scent is mesmerizing .and the best of these soaps are they are super easy to make and quite affordable.
Well other than that if you are fed up with acne or pimples then nothing can be better than orange peels treatment I have already shared earlier how to make orange peel face along with juice and peels so you can check that also .
So have a look how to make these soaps
Ingredients:
4 tablespoon freshly ground orange peels
Round silicone soap mold/ or any container
Orange essential oil (not fragrance oil)
1 teaspoon rosewater
1 tablespoon alovera Gel
Evion 1 capusle ( 600 mg )
Soap base
Method:
To make this soap, first we need to get the zest of 1-2 oranges (its simple you can get that from the peels of orange by grating them.
Now we will take 4 tablespoon of zest and add 1 capsule of vitamin E (in place of this you can 1 tbsn vitamin E oil).
Furthermore add 1 Teaspoon of rosewater along with 1 tablespoon of aloe Vera gel.
Here I m adding aloe Vera gel just to make this soap smooth and the excellent properties which it carries will nourish the skin.
Now it’s time to process the soap base ( I grated the base this helps it melt just a bit faster and yes they are easily available online and nearby any drug store or online ).
To start, I melted my soap base in a double boiler way but you can use microwave also and melt soap 15-30 second intervals, but doing this can sometimes cause the soap to overheat (which leads to unsightly bubbles and a loss of moisture).so personally will not recommend it .
As the soap base melts, stir it slowly and gently. Stirring too vigorously will cause bubbles to form, as will too much heat. While heating the base make sure the flame on the lowest setting just to avoid color change and lots of bubble.
Once your soap base has melted, add orange zest mixture which we made. Add orange essential oil if you want to add at this point to get mix everything well. As I have not added because I use freshly ground zest which contain Essential oil which is enough and when you are going to make this with dried peels so you can add strong and I have share how to MAKE ORANGE ESSENTAIL OIL with two ingredients so you can check in case you want to try your hand on making orange essential oil.
Meanwhile place some zest or you can use dried orange peels into bottom of each mold to give soap a great look and scrub factor .
Now turn off the flame and your soap mold with soap mixture properly ( and if you want to prevent bubbles so spary mold with rubbing alcohol )
Allow to harden for about 15 minutes. Place one orange slice in each cavity and add the soap mixture to the top of each cavity. I would stir the mixture in the measuring cup each time you pour, or they will clump at the bottom. Spray top of mixture with rubbing alcohol to prevent bubbles.
Dry for at least 3-4 hours or until hardened completely. To release, pop gently from mold. Store in an airtight container or Ziploc bag until ready to use.
