Why it works :
Well known for its stimulant properties when consumed in drinks such as coffee, caffeine is also a very beneficial ingredient in skincare products. Caffeine can help reduce the look of puffiness and dark circles under the eyes and it can also help to fortify the delicate skin around the eye. The potent blend of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory provided by caffeine tightens and brightens the appearance of the skin, reducing the puffiness and darkness commonly associated with dark circles around the eye area. I originally created a coffee serum for under eye treatment. Primarily, to combat puffiness and dark circles. However, I loved the results of the coffee eye serum which is way effective than I thought. This facial serum helps fight acne, discoloration, and puffiness and makes my skin nice and smooth.
Not only is caffeine helpful at stimulating the skin by increasing blood flow, it can also help with discoloration. If you have sensitive or fair skin, or suffer from allergies, you may be more prone to dark circles under the eyes. Thankfully there are natural solutions, such as a coffee serum.
Aloe Vera: One of the most promising beauty picks is aloe Vera gel as it soothes the skin and nourishes it deeply. Aloe vera gel has no side effects and you can use it afresh just by plucking the aloe Vera leaf from your garden. It reduces dark circles by hydrating the skin and boosting blood circulation.
Dark circles appear due to darkening of the thin layer of skin under the eye. Rose Water lightens the skin tone and provides a soothing and calming effect. The refreshing fragrance of rosewater relaxes the senses.
Almond oil can help to lighten the dark circles under your eyes and reduce under-eye puffiness. This is thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Almond oil also contains retinol, vitamin E, and vitamin K, which can keep the delicate skin under your eyes smooth without irritating it.
Turmeric oil has lots of benefits and uses and one of them is reducing dark circles. Turmeric can effectively remove dark circles due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. A recent study found that turmeric essential oil in a lotion formulation can brighten skin within three weeks with results that last just as long. These glowing benefits are likely the result of powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds working together to heal and bring out the natural health of skin
