And the most important factor is you don’t even need lemon juice to get the job done–lemon peels are enough. So the next time you squeeze lemon juice, don’t throw the peels away. Instead, use them for a lemon peel powder for radiant skin.
I always prefer to using homemade powders for my skin which is pure, hygiene and effective.

Ingredients:
1) 7-8 Lemons peels
2) Sharp Knife or scissor
3) Airtight container to store
4) Mixer grinder to make the powder
Method:
Non cook method:
Firstly wash the lemon thoroughly and cut from middle and squeeze the juice.
Use a fine-bladed paring knife or sharp scissor or vegetable peeler to trim or slice the peel into small parts as shown in picture
The peels will also take much longer to dry if is in larger size
Lay the peels on a tray and place under the sun to dry. Make sure you cover the tray with a net or a thin cloth to prevent dust and other insects from getting into contact with them.
Lay the strips on a plate (with the inside of the peels facing upwards) and let them dry in a warm, well-circulated, sunny place at room temperature for three to four days; As it may take 6 to 7 days for getting it fully dry.
Now how you know that they are fully dried until they have shriveled, lost their moisture, and is crisp.
Put all your dried peel into your grinder/ mixer .and keep this in mind while making the powder as jar of grinder is complete dry otherwise all it will spoil you powder.
Now for grind this have patience as in first run you will get the coarse powder and after second run you will get fine powder .
Store the powder in an air-tight jar. You may keep it at room temperature.
Speed method:
If you are short on time, you can also dry them in a 200 F oven.
Spread them on a parchment-paper-lined baking sheet and dry in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes.
If the peel starts to brown, turn off the oven for a few minutes, and rotate the pan.
The peels will curl up and turn stiff when they're dry.
Then as usual grind this into grinder and store the powder into an air-tighter container.
You can easily store this up to 12 months.

1 tbsp lemon peel powder
1/2 tbsp aloe Vera gel
1/2 a tbsp sandalwood powder
1 tbsp honey
Mix all ingredients until well combined.
Apply it on your face and keep it on for 15 to 20 minutes.

1 tbsp Gram flour
1/2 tbsp yogurt
Mix all ingredients until well combined.
Apply it on your face and keep it on for 15 to 20 minutes.

A word of caution
If you have very rash-prone, dry, or sensitive skin, then lemon probably
isn’t the best ingredient to experiment with. Moreover, don’t keep the mask for
longer than 20 minutes to avoid over-drying and fine lines.
I was not knowing that . as i use to have everyday lemon juice and throw the peels but i will keep collecting and will make powder out of it .
