Here’s a simple DIY recipe to follow to create a DIY green tea toner .
The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of green tea combined with the antiseptic qualities of the tea tree oil helps keep your skin clean, clear and spot-free. It also leaves you with a bright, radiant complexion.
Ingredients:
1 cup water
Green tea bag
10 drops tea tree essential oil
5 drops carrot essential oil
1 spray bottle
Method:
Pour 1 cup of boiled water to a mug and then add the green tea bag.
After you have brewed the green tea and allow it to release all goodness in water.
Once it’s cool down completely , fill it into your spray bottle.
Next, add 10 drops of tea tree essential oil along with carrot essential oil (I am adding this because of winters you can make with essential oil of your choice )
Screw the top back on the spray bottle. Shake it up well so that everything combines together.
Before using the toner make sure to thoroughly shake each use and spritz it all over your face
Alternatively You could also use a cotton wool pad to apply it .
Make sure to store this in your fridge and it will last about 7-10 days.

I used carrot seed essential oil for this recipe. I chose this essential oil as it has anti ageing benefits you may add orange peel essential oil which ever suits your skin type.
FOR Normal to Sensitive Skin type Lavender essential oil, Chamomile essential oil can be used .FOR Oily acne prone skin Skin type Helichrysum, Lemon grass, Peppermint, Tea tree essential oil can be used .
DRY/MATURE skin Carrot seed essential oil, Rose, Rose hip, orange essential oil can be used.
FOR all skin type Sandalwood and lavender essential oil can be used if you are not sure about which oil can be best suit for you.
can i add any other oil as i do not have tea tree oil .
