INFUSED LEMON WATER FOR WEIGHT LOSS
Today I am going to share the magic bullet for losing weight, as water is an effective weight loss aid. Drinking water helps to boost metabolism. It cleanses our bodies of waste and toxins. And it acts as an appetite suppressant. I am sharing the experience of my friend , she was advised by a doctor to drink a bottle of water every morning as part of his weight loss journey. she needed to lose weight because she had sleep neap. So, adding a few slice of lemon to your water not only adds vitamins and minerals to boost your immune system, it adds fresh flavor so drinking water for weight loss is less of a chore.
LEMON INFUSED WATER
These lemon slices are rich with vitamins, minerals, detoxifying, anti-inflammatory and immune boosting benefits. Add them to a pitcher of water to make refreshing lemon infused water to sip on all day long.
Lemons are a rich source of Vitamin C , which is the most important antioxidant found in nature. Vitamin C helps to neutralize free radicals both inside and outside of cells. Free radicals are responsible for damaging cells leading to inflammation and chronic disease. Vitamin C also helps prevent buildup of plaque and the progression of atherosclerosis and heart disease. The citric acid, bioflavonoids, vitamin C, calcium, pectin and limonene found in lemons are powerful nutrients which give a boost to the immune system, helping to ward off infections and disease. Lemons are considered one of the most alkalizing foods you can eat. They have a high, more pure concentration of negatively charged ions than any other fruit, which may help increase the flow of oxygen to the brain.
Ingredients:
1) 1 Liter water
2) 4 Lemons
3) Few mint leaves
Method:
Wash your lemons thoroughly and then slice them into thin slices discarding the ends. Remove all the seeds (be thorough removing the seeds to avoid bitter water). Add lemon slices and mint leaves to a pitcher and top with 1 liter of water. Refrigerate and infuse for at least 1 hour and up to 4 hours. Right before serving add 4 cups of cold sparkling water (or plain water) to the pitcher and serve over ice cubes with lemon slices frozen in them and a sprig of mint. Make sure to remove the lemon slices from the pitcher after a maximum of 4 hours to avoid the lemon infused water from becoming bitter.
Why is lemon helpful in reducing weight

- Sip on lemon infused water instead of packed juice, or soda, sweetened tea whether it’s “diet” or not.
